Horsemanship through rescue and rehabilitation

Thank you for visiting our website. Here you can find information about our mission. You can also view blogs on horse training and horse care.  Our mission is to share our beautiful creatures with the community in a variety of ways. We offer lessons in horseback riding, horsemanship, horse behavior, and horse care.

Because we believe that our horses who are mostly rescues  that can heal souls of those with trauma, help people define their paths, increase resilience, and restore faith in themselves.

For this, we offer Equine Assisted Services (EAS) such as Equine Assisted Learning, Coaching, and Therapy.

In addition to our mission, we earn funds to fund our mission via our online store where we sell some recommended items that we love on Amazon, our Gypsy Farms shirts, breakaway cross ties and much more.  We offer some services including limited riding lessons, horse training, photoshoots with horses, and horseback riding birthday parties. All services are donation based. Each page has a recommended donation for the services. The donations are used to cover expenses by volunteers at Gypsy Farms, pay for the horse's feed, care, and training, maintain and purchase equipment used for the services we offer, and donate back to needy horses.

About Us

Sara Winder is the owner and primary trainer at Gypsy Farms. Our goal is to teach the community about horsemanship by providing the opportunity for children and adults to be around and learn to care for horses. At Gypsy Farms, we focus on safety first while learning horsemanship, equine behavior, and body language, as a means to better communicate with the horse. We encourage equestrians to learn how to care for, groom and tack their horse. ​
